1m, 5k

DESCRIPTION

The Inaugural Red Rock Search and Rescue 5k and 1-mile fun run is an opportunity for the community to come out and help support the Red Rock Search and Rescue (RRSAR). Known nationwide as the team that "does not quit", RRSAR is the  only Team in Southern Nevada that is certified to teach and test to the internationally recognized NASAR standards. (National Association for Search and Rescue)

Made up of nearly 200 members from EMTs, retired military, off duty police officers, and many other walks of life, RRSAR is on standby ready to serve you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  Members are trained to deploy in nearly any weather and  terrain; from 100 degree plus dry deserts to frozen mountains, urban neighborhoods, lakes and rivers, they are here for you. Red Rock Search and Rescue is a non profit 501-c3 that provides services at no cost to the public.

Come out to also honor our heroes, to remember their achievements, their courage and their dedication, and to say thank you for their sacrifices. Come and stand in the midst of patriots and the family and friends of those who have nobly served on this Veterans Day.
