Dear Community Partner,
This year, the Oak Creek High School members of Chick-fil-A Leader Academy (CFALA) and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) have decided to host a 5K for the March of Dimes Foundation. The March of Dimes foundation works to improve health conditions for pregnant women and babies, especially those born prematurely.
Each year, about half a million babies are born premature or with birth defects in the United States. March of Dimes works to research the causes, treatment for premature babies and helps fund medical costs of the families affected. The members of CFALA and FBLA hope to bring in community members for the first-ever March of Dimes 5K held at Oak Creek High School. This is more than an event, it is an experience that will bring together hundreds of people to show our support for the March of Dimes Foundation and the great causes they are operating for. Today we invite you to show your support in the ongoing fight against birth defects and infant mortality rates by making a donation towards the 5K event that will be held at Oak Creek High School on Saturday, May 11th. Will you join the fight?
